Ten writers for children. All with something to say.

¡Ay-ay-AY! What about me?

Writer's block? Not such a thing for me.

Artist Salvador Dali's eyes are fixed on me.

Puerto Rican poet Julia de Burgos rows around me.

My wicked sister asks, "Is that the book about me?"

The Jewish girl, who wants to be a nun, cries, "Me! Me! Choose me!"

I choose, pointing to each and saying,

"Tin-marín-de-los-pingues-cúcara-mácarara-títere-fue,"

leaving the others with their hands up!

Nice to be in demand, Carmen. Hope you can sort through everything pulling at you.

I want to know about the Jewish girl who wants to be a nun!

Whatever you choose, they are all interesting subjects, including that wicked sister of yours!

I, too, am dying to find out about the Jewish girl who wants to be a nun, Carmen. I also need to bone up on my Spanish.

Frustrating and wonderful at the same time to have so many choices waiting in the wings. Everything in good time is what I say!
