"There are good books which are only for adults.
There are no good books which are only for children."
- W. H. Auden
The following quote I have hanging on my wall, and the older I get, the more I find it to be true:
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."
- Plato
Ten writers for children. All with something to say.

Love these, especially the Plato.
I too love these two quotes and agree, the Plato is truer as I grow older and hopefully a little wiser.
David, especially Plato. Reminds me to share reverence, everyday. Merci.
David,
I really like Plato's quote. We are all in the midst of our own struggles, and once we realize that, we can be kinder to each other.
It's true that I've never read a good children's book that an adult couldn't enjoy, too! And everyone, writer or not, can benefit from what Plato has to say.
Great quotes, David!
