2012
I didn't have a new book out in 2011, so I'm looking forward to August 2012, when this shiny new one hits the shelves:
This novel is about 15-year-old Robie. She gets on a small plane in Honolulu, headed for Midway Island, and then bad things happen. I'm not very nice to her. Not at all.
Must have been fun to write about Midway. That's where you were living when you came out for the Charlotte Huck festival, right? Like Lauren, I can't wait to read The Raft. Congrats!
Can't wait to read this! And the cover is very provocative-- which makes for a good cover!

ReplyDeleteYeah, it was nice to be able to use that whole experience in such a way. And I love the cover:)
ReplyDeleteVery exciting! Congratulations, Stephanie. Having read your other novels, I can only imagine what horrors Robie encounters....!
ReplyDeleteWow. What a striking cover. And what an exciting thing to look forward to. Congratulations, Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteStephanie,
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely looking forward to reading this one! And I love that you're continuing those provocative 2-word titles.
I can't wait! I can't. Go Steph!
ReplyDeleteKatherine loaned me her copy of your book, Stephanie. You are VERY mean to your main character, which makes it such a great read! Congrats!!
