I ...This is a wonderful interview, Carmen and Edie. I too love Edie's book, Road to Tater Hill, and agree that the book resonates as true, both in historical detail and in the characters' emotions. You were wise to give the main character a different name to allow personal distance and room to let the story take on its own life, even though this has many autobiograhical elements.
